I promised a couple of people to have this up sooner, but as is usually the case with me, real life unexpectedly intervened! But, now I'm ready to get into a discussion of how I use the "StretchSkeleton" cheat in Little Hollywick to give a little bit more realism to my sims appearances and personalities(as seen in the picture above).
It's finally senior year for the current bunch of Uni students, although technically Mia Marsh has an extra semester after this year due to her Academic Probation. Let's see how the Uni students spent their last year at LHU!
Sawyer Lightfoot and his sister Penelope (both by ferretsims) moved to Little Hollywick at the start of week 5. During their first week in town, Sawyer met the love of his life, Joanna Gilbert, and he married her on simday 34. They are now expecting their first child. Penelope had a short fling with Clay Peshterianu during his single days, but now she is single and starting to get desperate in finding a mate!
As promised, here is the LH Aquarium all ready for download (see a full lot tour here). Let me warn you again that there is a TON of CC in this lot, so be sure to use Clean Installer first! Most of the CC is aquarium things and OMSPs and the like. My custom Aquarium Exhibit signs are also included, but I've added a separate download for those as well for anyone who wants just the signs to make their own aquariums. I've been working on this for two days off and on, and finally got it to where I like it! Scratch that, love it! I'm playing the Lightfoot family next, and Penelope works in the Oceanography career track, hence the need for an Oceanography career building! It's been awhile since I built the police station for Sawyer, but I'm still determined to have career buildings for each career. Anyway, let's take a tour of the new Little Hollywick Aquarium!
Sorry for the long wait! My family decided to stay a little longer than expected and I haven't had a single moment to myself! It feels nice to relax a little after such a busy week! So anyway, here is Prom Night for the high schoolers of week 6!
I hope you all had a very happy Christmas! Mine went really well. We traveled to spend time with my husband's side of the family and stayed for 5 days. Now we're back at home and I've got my brother-in-law staying with us for another day or two. The prom pictures are completely ready, I just need to find the time to sit down and right up the update. It was a really fun prom, even better than the last one I think! So that will be up in another day or so.
Stay safe this holiday season and watch out for that egg nog...it can be brutal!
So this is really going to sound crazy, and I know I'm going to get myself in trouble...but I have a question for all you CC creators out there.
I am really lacking in certain Maxis Match items, and I would really like to learn how to make the things I want rather than spending hours searching for if it even exists out there. I know where to find tutorials on how to recolor items (although if you know of a really good one then please point me in that direction!), but what I'm looking for are textures and colors that are Maxis Match, for clothing especially but also for objects and hair as well. Any idea where to find some good ones? Which ones do you all use?
